Junk Journal style Birthday/Anniversary Folio

In this class you will learn how to take those envelopes you get from junk mail (or your bills, paystubs, etc.) to create a fan folio.

Then you will learn how to use a single sheet of double-sided scrapbook paper to make a cover for your folio.

For this class, you will need 12 recycled envelopes of the same size. I used pay stub envelopes for my sample that are approx. 4" x 9-3/4". (If you don’t have 12 recycled envelopes all the same size, 12 new standard #9 letter size envelopes will work fine). We will have some on hand for use if you don’t have any to bring.
As long as your envelopes are all the same size, that's what's important. You may also use new envelopes if you don't keep those free
envelopes we often get in mail for bills we pay online.

Students will get to choose their scrapbook paper for their cover from a selection of double-sided papers we have in the shop.
You will also get to choose a brad from my stash to use for a closure element which we will teach you how to make as well.

This will be a fun class. If you are new to junk journaling or just curious what it's all about, this is a great beginner class.
We will teach you how to create the folio and closure and then the fun of embellishing it will begin. Each student will also get
a printed calendar for each month of the year to record your birthdays and anniversaries. This will be a cute and functional project.
It will help you see at a glance who you need to make cards for...so you'll want to keep your finished folio with your card making supplies.

You’ll love making these folios so much you’ll want to make a whole bunch of them. Think of the possibilities…Receipt holder, ephemera holder, craft sta$h savings folio…what will you use yours for?

You don’t want to miss this FUNctional journal class!
